City of Chilliwack to upgrade multiple crosswalks with lighting improvements for pedestrian safety
CHILLIWACK – The City of Chilliwack plans to enhance four roadways and/or intersections throughout the city by installing lighting improvements so that pedestrians and cyclists can safely cross the street.
According to its website, the city plans to upgrade four crosswalks with rectangular rapid-flashing beacons (RRFB) this spring.
The locations include First Avenue at Williams Street, Reece Avenue at Williams Street, Yale Road at Victor Street, and Tyson Road at Mt. Slesse Middle School.
