Motorist crashes truck, flees scene: Chilliwack RCMP

CHILLIWACK — A spokesperson for the Chilliwack RCMP detachment says police were called to Alder Avenue in Sardis earlier this month after a motorist driving a truck struck several parked vehicles and fled the scene.

According to a statement from Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener, police responded to a report of a collision on Alder Avenue, located east of Vedder Road, in which a truck struck several parked vehicles.

When police arrived, the occupants of the truck had already fled the scene and were not located.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, Corporal Kiener said.
