1 airlifted to hospital after motorbike lands in Langley ditch Friday evening

LANGLEY — One person was airlifted to hospital after a collision between a motorcycle and a semi-truck Friday evening, January 2.

BC Emergency Health Services told Fraser Valley Today that three ground ambulance units and one air ambulance were dispatched to the 2400 block of 216 Street in Langley at 4:18 p.m.

The air ambulance transported one patient, the motorcyclist, in critical condition.

Nearby residents reported that the semi appeared to be exiting the driveway, while the motorcycle and its rider were both in a ditch near the truck.
