Chilliwack-Hope MP Mark Strahl’s annual free skating event today

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack-Hope MP Mark Strahl will host his annual New Year’s Skating Party later today.

The skating session gets underway at 1 p.m. today (Monday, Dec. 29) at the Chilliwack Coliseum, 45323 Hodgins Avenue, and lasts until 3 p.m.

Residents are invited to enjoy the free community skate, along with snacks and refreshments. Skate rentals will be available for a fee.

“Even if you don’t skate, come by for a visit with your friends and neighbours,” Strahl said. “Wishing you and yours all the best in 2026. I hope to see you at my New Year’s Skating Party!”
