[VIDEO] Heavy police presence near Cessna Drive Saturday morning

CHILLIWACK — Some Chilliwack residents were woken by sirens this morning (Dec. 20) as multiple police cars headed toward a residential neighbourhood near Airport Road.

Witnesses say police have been at the site since 7:30 in the morning.

At around 9:30 a.m., locals reported over a dozen police cars and RCMP Emergency Response Team vehicles surrounding a home in the area of Airport Road and Cessna Drive, near the Chilliwack School District building.

Photos and videos sent to Fraser Valley Today showed multiple armed officers standing by with rifles present. One ERT officer was also seen carrying a painter’s ladder, which is often used to breach entry points on the second floor.
