Dec 14, 2025 | 9:36 AM

ABBOTSFORD — Two people have been taken to hospital after another serious collision in Abbotsford Saturday (Dec. 13).

At roughly 2:53 p.m., the Abbotsford Police Department responded to a collision in the 1600 block of McCallum Road and found two injured pedestrians who had been struck by a van travelling southbound.

Police say the van had left the roadway and mounted the sidewalk before the collision.

Both individuals received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The 33-year-old male driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with police.

A witness at the scene told Fraser Valley Today the victims “flew” a good distance away and were “bleeding in a lot of places”, with bystanders rushing to their aid before emergency crews arrived.

The investigation remains in its early stages, but impairment has been ruled out as a factor in the incident.

Witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage is asked to contact AbbyPD at 604-859-5225 and quote file number 2025-53515.

This had been the second serious vehicle incident that day, following a fatal crash into a water-filled ditch Saturday morning.
