2 cars submerged after trying to drive through side roads in Abbotsford Friday
ABBOTSFORD — Police and the City of Abbotsford are warning drivers against travel through the city despite directions from web mapping services.
Sgt. Paul Walker with AbbyPD said Saturday morning that two individuals needed to be rescued last night after trying to drive around barriers and sinking their vehicles into the water.
“A lot of water has receded overnight, which is an awesome thing to see, but unfortunately, we have a significant amount of water still on the highway, still making it impassable for vehicles,” said Sgt. Paul Walker in an update Saturday morning, December 13.
