Abbotsford animal rescue group calling for adoption support
ABBOTSFORD — As the holiday season draws nearer, an Abbotsford-based animal rescue organization is asking the public to support their efforts to find homes for dozens of cats.
More than two dozen cats and kittens are ready for adoption from Abby Cat Daddy: The Feline Advocate Society. The total is about to grow by a dozen as more kittens become available for adoption in the coming days. In total, the group cares for 98 animals.
The charity has reduced adoption fees by $50 for single cats and $75 for pairs in an effort to encourage adoption by December 23. All of the cats available are spayed or neutered. Their vaccinations are up to date and they’ve been microchipped or tattooed. The organization also offers a six-week PetSecure insurance trial.
“Every cat in our care has a story,” said Founder and Rescue Manager Logan Bryan in a news release. “We’re hoping the community can help us give them each a happy ending.”
