MISSION — Government partners are working with a non-profit housing provider to build new affordable homes in Mission with a key infrastructure purchase.

BC Housing has recently purchased a 10-storey building in downtown Mission, to be named JK Tower, that would support 92 housing units and several commercial spaces.

“We are thrilled to see the JK Tower acquired for its intended purpose of affordable housing for individuals and families in one of our most vibrant neighbourhoods,” said Mayor Paul Horn. “We are deeply grateful to More Than a Roof and BC Housing for their dedication throughout what was an unusually complex process.”

More Than A Roof Housing Society is set to operate the community agencies located on the ground-floor commercial spaces.
