CHILLIWACK — A local-born and raised musician is making her way back home for the holidays for a one-night performance at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.
Juno Award winner Bria Skonberg is flying in from New York for a Christmas performance full of holiday classics, jazz standards and original scores.
“I’m so excited to be coming back home! Growing up in Chilliwack with its spirited school programs gave me a love for people and adventure that has led to collecting sounds and stories from all around the globe,” said Skonberg. “I’m looking forward to seeing many friends and sharing these experiences through fun music and more!”
Her album, “Bria”, won the Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year in 2017.
