Abbotsford hospital lights up with decorated Christmas trees for annual event
ABBOTSFORD — Guests and patients in Abbotsford are invited to take a stroll through the local hospital’s main atrium this holiday season – for a good cause.
This year’s Trees of Caring event is held at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. The annual fundraiser involves tree sponsorships of $750 to $850, with proceeds helping bring vital equipment to the region.
“Each year individuals, families, community groups and local businesses come together to transform the hospital atrium into a beautiful display of festive trees – bringing joy and holiday spirit to patients, visitors and staff,” wrote the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) in a release.
“Their tree sponsorship not only delights visitors, but will help fund essential equipment to bring faster, safer care closer to home.”
