USNTDP tops CHL 4-2 in prospects challenge game

CALGARY — Brady Knowling made 42 saves to help lead the United States National Team Development Program squad to a 4-2 win over the CHL in the CHL USA Prospects challenge game on Tuesday.

Sammy Nelson and Wyatt Cullen each had a goal and an assist for the USNTDP in the victory. Dayne Beucker and Jamie Glance, with an empty-net goal, also scored.

Chase Reid and Mathis Preston replied for the CHL. Harrison Boettiger stopped 22 shots.

Beucker opened the scoring at 7:29 of the first period before Nelson made it a 2-0 game 3:31 into the second.
