Hwy. 1 w/b west of Chilliwack clear after morning crashes

UPDATE: DriveBC says both lanes of w/b Hwy. 1 are clear. There was another accident later in the morning between McCallum Road and Clearbrook Road impacting the westbound lanes, but that incident has cleared.

CHILLIWACK/ABBOTSFORD — A multi-vehicle accident on Highway 1 between Chilliwack and Abbotsford has slowed westbound traffic Monday morning.

DriveBC says an accident between Whatcom Road (exit 95) and South Parallel Road/Cole Road (exit 99) has resulted in significant traffic backups.

Scanner traffic indicated no one involved in the multi-vehicle accident required any medical treatment or transport. The PulsePoint app shows B.C. Emergency Health Services paramedics were cleared as of 7:45 a.m.
