Annual ‘Holly Jolly’ celebration returns to Chilliwack with seasonal events, markets

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack is getting into the full swing of the holiday spirit with its latest lineup of events and attractions starting this weekend.

“This immersive seasonal campaign transforms the city into a festive playground filled with twinkling lights, cozy experiences, and magical moments to be discovered around every corner,” said Carly Brkich, destination marketing manager for Tourism Ch’illiwack.

“Whether you’re planning a cheerful day trip or a full holiday getaway, Holly Jolly Chilliwack invites locals and visitors alike to experience the wonder of the season in one of BC’s most enchanting winter destinations.”

Festivities starting today (Nov. 14) include a Win and Wander Passport, where locals can visit participating local businesses to collect stickers and win prizes, as well as the 50th annual Chilliwack Christmas Craft Fair at Heritage Park, showcasing over 240 exhibitors and raising funds for local arts programs and scholarships.

District 1881 is also inviting guests to the lighting of a 40-foot Christmas Tree on Saturday, November 15th, and the following week, on November 22nd, visitors can head down to Cultus Lake for its annual Christmas celebration and walk through seasonal displays that will twinkle on the Main Beach all the way into the New Year.

Finally, on November 29, families can gather to enjoy an evening of floats and entertainment for all ages at the Rotary Christmas Parade, starting at 5:30 p.m. on Yale Road.
