Remembrance Day ceremonies to be held in Chilliwack, throughout the Fraser Valley
CHILLIWACK — Residents in Chilliwack and across the Fraser Valley will have ample opportunities to pay their respects and remember the brave Canadian soldiers who gave their lives to serve their county during Remembrance Day ceremonies on Tuesday.
There will be two opportunities in Chilliwack for residents to participate in Remembrance Day. The first of two services will start at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Hall (9291 Corbould Street). The procession will begin at 10:30 a.m. from Evergreen Hall; the ceremony will immediately follow at Veterans Memorial Park at 45820 Spadina Avenue.
The City of Chilliwack notes on its website there will be road closures near the downtown cenotaph.
