Traffic slowed due to accident on Highway 1 in Langley Saturday afternoon

LANGLEY — Drivers may have to prepare for delays on Highway 1 in Langley Saturday afternoon, November 8.

DriveBC reported the left lane of the highway just west of 232nd Street has been blocked due to an incident involving a vehicle heading westbound at around 12:15 p.m.

Traffic has been able to pass through the pullout, but the road remained heavily congested.

The road has been reduced to one lane between Glover Road and Exit 66 as of 1 p.m. Tow crews began working on the scene roughly an hour later.

Google Maps showed a 22-minute delay on the stretch of highway to 232nd Street at the time of writing.
