69-year-old man reported missing, last seen a month ago: Abbotsford PD

ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford are seeking public assistance in locating a 69-year-old man who was reported missing last week but was last seen about a month ago.

According to a statement from AbbyPD spokesperson Constable Scott McClure, Peter Jones was reported missing to the AbbyPD on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Police say his disappearance is considered highly unusual and has raised concerns for both his family and investigators.

Jones is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’7″, with long shoulder length black hair. The last confirmed sighting of Peter was on October 4, 2025, in the 2100 block of Sumas Way, where he was seen wearing a blue t-shirt.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Jones, or has information that could assist in locating him, to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225. The Abbotsford PD file is 2025-46628.
