1 dead, 1 taken to hospital after single-vehicle crash near Highway 10 in Langley

LANGLEY — Langley RCMP are investigating a fatal crash that occurred north of Highway 10 early Friday morning (Oct. 31).

Police say at around 1:21 a.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Glover Road, north of the highway, and found a car off the roadway on the east side.

“One person has tragically lost their life and another taken to hospital,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “At this time impairment and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision.”

The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been deployed to the area to assist with the investigation, and the 7600 block of Glover Road remains closed while investigators remain on scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dash-cam footage from the area between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. is asked to contact Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2025-35749.
