Section of Wolfe Road in Chilliwack closed after gas line struck
CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack fire crews have been dispatched to Wolfe Road near Townsend Road after an excavator struck a gas line Tuesday morning.
According to scanner traffic, three Chilliwack Fire Department engines were first paged at about 10:46 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 28) after getting reports that an excavator hit a gas line in the 45000 block of Wolfe Road.
Firefighters told dispatch that a one-inch pressured gas line was struck.
Wolfe Road was closed to vehicular traffic at approximately 11:15 a.m.
