Chilliwack Cultural Centre to host evening of classical music with modern twist

CHILLIWACK — A musical trio is bringing instrumental classics into the 21st century with an upcoming concert performance in Chilliwack.
In “Old Songs, New Songs”, the acclaimed Bergmann Duo, together with violinist and composer Ryan Davis, will be blending works like Schubert’s Litany for the Feast of All Souls and Fauré’s Après un rêve with pieces from modern pop music.
“Davis, known for his genre-bending compositions that fuse classical, electronic, and folk influences, brings a fresh and compelling voice to the program,” said the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. “Together, the trio explores the evolving life of song: how melodies of the past inspire new expressions of emotion, culture, and connection.”
The Centre is set to host the performance on Sunday, November 2, at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the box office, online or by calling 604-391-SHOW(7469).
