Chilliwack Fire, RCMP attend for report of a vehicle into a Sardis home

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack Fire Department personnel and Chilliwack RCMP members were paged Wednesday morning (Oct. 15) for the report of a vehicle into a home.

According to scanner traffic at 11 a.m., fire crews were called to the 45800 block of Stevenson Road after getting reports of a car into a home.

The incident occurred at a strata complex/gated community.

Dispatch advised first responders that there were no injuries.

Two RCMP members attended along with a single fire engine.

The vehicle in question, a dark red SUV, sustained front end damage; a section of the hood appeared to have come off.

A tow truck arrived within approximately 20 minutes of the call to tow the vehicle.
