Update: DriveBC says Hwy. 1 in Abbotsford clear after incident at Clearbrook off-ramp

UPDATE: As of 1:21 p.m., DriveBC now says a vehicle incident at the Clearbrook off-ramp (exit 87) is clear, and all lanes are open. However, there could be lingering congestion.

FRASER VALLEY — Highway 1 westbound between Clearbrook Road (exit 87) and 264 Street in Langley is a slow go following an unspecified vehicle incident Tuesday morning through the lunch hour.

Google Maps is showing dark red from Abbotsford to Langley westbound, while Fraser Valley Road Report users on Facebook say traffic is only now moving slowly at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

DriveBC hasn’t been a big help with details. It posted at 11:33 a.m. about an incident in Langley: “Expect delays westbound after 264th (Street) due to a vehicle incident. Crews are on scene.” As of 12:36 p.m., it hadn’t provided further details and pictures.
