CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP say two people were taken into custody outside a Chilliwack business Wednesday night after AbbyPD received a report of a road rage incident in Abbotsford.

According to a statement from Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Alexandra Mulvihill, the Abbotsford Police Department advised at approximately 9:35 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 8) that they had a report of a road rage incident that occurred at Hwy. 1 and Hwy. 11 (Sumas Way). The report contained information that the occupants of a grey Jeep Wrangler with an Alberta license plate had pointed a firearm during the incident.

Sgt. Mulvihill says Chilliwack RCMP located the vehicle going eastbound on Yale Road after it took the Evans Road exit (exit 118).

A high risk vehicle take down was conducted at a business on Yale Road, Budget Brake and Muffler (45478 Yale Road).
