Rainfall warning for B.C.’s Howe Sound, parts of Metro Vancouver
VANCOUVER — Heavy rainfall is in the forecast for parts of British Columbia’s south coast as a frontal system pushes through the region.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the North Shore section of Metro Vancouver, as well as for Howe Sound stretching into Squamish.
It says up to 60 millimetres of rain can be expected before the system passes Monday afternoon.
The warning does not include the Fraser Valley however the forecast is calling for up to 20 mm of rain through much of the region Monday.
