Surrey stabbing victim in critical condition

SURREY — Surrey police say a man in his mid-30s is in critical condition in hospital as a result of a stabbing Saturday (Sept. 27) afternoon.

The assault was reported along King George Boulelvard in the Whalley neighbourhood around 2:30 p.m.

Police have arrested a suspect in his early 40s. The man is being held in custody.

Police investigators are asking any members of the public to come forward with any information they may have related to the stabbing.
