B.C. resident bags $31M Lotto Max jackpot Tuesday night

VANCOUVER — A lucky B.C. resident’s life could change soon if they step up to claim their $31 million win on last night’s (Sep. 23) Lotto Max jackpot.

The winning draw was purchased online through BCLC’s PlayNow website, where players across the province can buy lottery tickets, place sports bets and play online casino games.

The seven winning numbers were: 8, 9, 23, 30, 38, 40 and 43.

Specific retail location and names will be announced once winners claim their prize. They will have one year from the draw date to do so.

BCLC says lottery players in B.C. have redeemed more than $196 million in winnings from Lotto Max so far in 2025, including a Surrey man who won an $80 million jackpot in May.
