Abbotsford police respond to shooting, break-ins throughout weekend
ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department has been kept busy over the past weekend, with calls ranging from thefts and collisions to high-risk incidents and break-ins.
“Between Friday at 5:00 PM and Monday at 6:00 AM, AbbyPD frontline teams responded to 335 police files, keeping extremely busy throughout the weekend,” said AbbyPD.
“Officers handled serious calls for service while continuing proactive efforts to keep our community safe.”
Notable files included an ERT deployment for a high-risk mental health call Friday afternoon, as well as a break-in at a local mall later in the shift.
