CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack will be kicking off its first-ever Queer Art Festival this fall with drag, LGBTQIA+ stories and a circus cabaret.

Starting October 20, at 7 p.m., the Chilliwack Cultural Centre will be hosting a Night Market and drag show with “bold costumes, high-energy lip-syncs, hilarious banter, and jaw-dropping talent”.

The spectacle ramps up on October 21 when Crossroads Cabaret lights up the stage with performances of circus acts, burlesque and live music for audiences aged 19 and up.

“With each act pushing boundaries and embracing individuality, audiences will be swept into a captivating atmosphere of freedom, pride, and artistry,” said the Centre. “More than just a performance, the cabaret creates an immersive experience that invites audiences to revel in the joy of living authentically.”
