Officials seek feedback from Chilliwack residents on 2026 budget plan
CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack is inviting residents to have their say in where the cash flow’s going this next year through the launch of the 2026 Financial Plan Survey.
The City’s plan looks at economic opportunities, challenges and the long-term vision for 2035. Anyone looking to share their voice can do so through the survey to help Council balance property taxes and maintain the sustainability of municipal services.
“We will be developing our annual budget soon and want to hear from you,” said Mayor Ken Popove. “Your feedback will help us keep the community’s priorities top of mind as we take care of today’s needs and plan for tomorrow.”
A 10-year plan is prepared annually to help officials assess which resources are needed across various sectors, such as infrastructure, public services, recreational facilities, and more.
