Abbotsford police investigating two vehicles set on fire, shots fired at Eagle Mountain home
ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford are investigating an incident in which two vehicles were intentionally set on fire, and shots were fired at a home, in Eagle Mountain early Monday morning.
According to a statement from AbbyPD Sgt. Paul Walker, police were called to the 2700 block of Eagle Peak Drive after getting reports that two cars were ablaze.
When police arrived, officers located two parked vehicles engulfed in flames in front of a home. Further investigation revealed that a home had been struck by gunfire. The occupants of the home who were asleep at the time shots were fired were uninjured.
The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation and is actively working to determine the motive behind the incident.
