Chilliwack family doctor to open at new clinic, accept new patients

CHILLIWACK — A United Kingdom-trained family doctor who began welcoming new patients at a Chilliwack clinic earlier this year will accept new patients when he relocates to a new site on Young Road next month.

Dr. Gabriel Pekun began working at Wayside Medical Clinic inside Cascade Pharmacy at 46298 Yale Road earlier this year after relocating from Calgary, Alberta, where he practiced comprehensive family medicine. He launched his practice here in Chilliwack around the first week of June.

He tells Fraser Valley Today that he will now open at a new clinic inside Heritage Pharmacy, located at 9136 Young Road, as of October 1, 2025. The name of the clinic is Gracelink Medical Clinic.

In making the move over to Heritage Pharmacy, Dr. Pekun says he felt very supported at Wayside Medical and appreciated the opportunity to work alongside clinical staff there.

Dr. Pekun’s wife is also a doctor and has started her family medicine residency here in Chilliwack.
