Fall classes set to start at Chilliwack Cultural Centre
CHILLIWACK — As nature begins to paint its leaves with orange and brown hues, the Chilliwack Cultural Centre is inviting residents to colour, sculpt and bind their own crafts this upcoming season.
From September 5 to November 10, artists can enroll in a variety of classes like “Portraits Like the Old Masters” and “Drawing Faces” to refine their skills, or try out “Introduction to Water Mixable Oils” and “Drawing the Human Body” as beginners.
Parents, kids or friends can also bond together with a Family Paint Night or Dungeons & Dragons one-shots.
For those who want something more tactile, students can learn how to mould clay into pieces of pottery with the Centre’s introductory Handbuilding class or use wire and flowers to make Floral Wreaths.
