Abbotsford Regional receives $25K donation to maternity and pediatric wards
ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Regional Hospital may soon be able to provide better care for local children and mothers after a generous donation from the Canucks for Kids Fund.
A contribution of $25,000 is being allocated towards the purchase of five new Welch Allyn Vital Signs Machines – essential tools for monitoring the health of new moms and young patients.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Canucks for Kids Fund for this exceptional contribution,” said Elizabeth Harris, executive director of the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF).
The machines assess patient data by tracking vital signs, enabling care providers to make informed, compassionate medical decisions more efficiently.
