Police searching for B.C. woman Jessica Cunningham find body, man charged
MAPLE RIDGE — Police investigating the disappearance of British Columbia woman Jessica Cunningham have found human remains in a neighbourhood of Maple Ridge, B.C.
They say Mylie Barron has been charged with indignity to human remains, and he remains in custody.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Ridge Meadows RCMP found the remains on Tuesday as they conducted investigations into Cunningham’s disappearance in Gillis Place, a cul de sac in Maple Ridge.
IHIT says Barron was charged on Wednesday and it is working with the BC Coroners Service to identify the remains.
