Chilliwack North MLA to host BBQ next month for B.C. Conservative members

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack North MLA Heather Maahs will hold a BBQ as a way of connecting with fellow B.C. Conservatives and their family members next month at a park in Rosedale.

The event happens Friday, September 12 from 5:30 p.m. to. 7:30 p.m. at Rosedale Park, 51535 Yale Road.

The festivities consist of hot dogs and hamburgers and games.

The event is hosted by Maahs and the Chilliwack North Riding Association board.

“It will be a great time to connect with your local fellow Conservative members, to strengthen relationships, share ideas and plan for the future,” a Facebook post about the event said.

There is no admission charge for current members. Memberships can be renewed or purchased in advance here or on location. Donations are also accepted at the event to rebuild the association’s election treasury.
