CHILLIWACK — Despite sunny skies, a lack of strong winds and pleasantly nice weather around the Fraser Valley tonight, a power outage with no apparent cause just yet has left over 1,300 customers in Chilliwack without power Tuesday evening.

According to BC Hydro’s online dashboard, 1,363 customers lost power at 6:05 p.m.

The impacted areas include Airport Road and Young Road in midtown Chilliwack north of Highway 1.

The cause is under investigation.
