Mission RCMP investigating targeted shooting

MISSION — Mounties in Mission are investigating an incident of shots fired that happened earlier this week.

According to a statement from police, Mission RCMP were dispatched for a report of a shooting on Wednesday evening, Aug. 13 at 10:33 p.m., in the 3700 block of Lakeview Drive.

Police say bullets struck a residence and a vehicle. Fortunately, no one was injured.

RCMP investigators suspect this was a targeted incident, and are seeking dashcam footage, or security video from the area, as well as any witness descriptions from between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
