BC Highway Patrol sends a cheeky message to motorcyclist caught on Hwy. 1 near Boston Bar
BOSTON BAR — The BC Highway Patrol had a field day poking fun at a motorcyclist who for some bizarre reason felt the need to more than double the posted speed limit on Highway 1 in Boston Bar recently.
According to a social media post earlier this week, BC Highway Patrol officers caught up to a man who was caught driving 221 km/h in a posted 90 zone on the Fraser Canyon highway.
Police joked that he sped past his buddies on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, but at least they didn’t get caught and were able to drive home with their rice intact.
“His Harley friends couldn’t keep up, but they got to keep their bikes,” BC Highway Patrol wrote on X/Twitter.
