Driver suffers life-altering injuries in Abbotsford crash

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford police say one person was airlifted to hospital following a serious single-vehicle crash in the 1000 block of Echo Road early Sunday (Jul. 27) morning.
AbbyPD says the crash occurred shortly after midnight.
The driver and lone occupant was taken by air ambulance to a Vancouver area hospital. Police say the injuries suffered by the driver are life-altering.
AbbyPD says the investigation is pointing towards speed as being a contributing factor in the crash.
