Mission RCMP seek suspect in theft of wallet containing debit and credit cards
MISSION — Police in Mission are looking to identify a man they say allegedly stole a wallet and used the victim’s banking and credit cards for purchases in Mission.
According to a social media post, Mission RCMP say a resident from 9th Avenue near Stave Lake Street reported on Tuesday, July 15 to police that his wallet had been stolen. The man’s credit card and debit card were used in Mission later that day.
Police say closed-circuit television footage revealed that the same person who had used the cards had also recently been checking door handles on 9th Avenue and had entered the victim’s garage.
Police provided a picture of the male suspect who appears to be younger, with reddish-blonde hair, wearing a black jacket and dark undershirt.
