Big rig rolls over on Golden Ears Bridge, causing huge traffic delays

GOLDEN EARS BRIDGE — A commercial big rig has rolled over on the Golden Ears Bridge Monday morning, causing significant delays.

According to a social media post from Langley RCMP, first responders were dispatched Monday after a semi trailer tipped over and crashed.

The Golden Ears Bridge connects Langley with Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.

Emergency crews are on scene. Traffic is reduced to a single lane in each direction. Police are urging motorists to use alternate routes to help keep traffic flowing and allow emergency services to work safely.

“We’ll provide updates as they become available. Stay safe and plan ahead!” Langley RCMP wrote at 12:18 p.m. Monday.
