ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford say two adults have been found deceased in a home after police received a report of a violent dispute on McKee Road Monday night, June 30.
According to a statement from AbbyPD Sgt. Paul Walker, AbbyPD patrol officers responded at 7:46 p.m. Monday night for the report of a violent dispute at a home in the 36000 block of McKee Road. On arrival, police entered the home and tragically found two adults deceased.
Sgt. Walker says this is an isolated incident contained within a single residence, and there is no ongoing risk to public safety. Police say the investigation is in its early stages, and additional resources have been deployed to support the ongoing efforts.
The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit is transitioning the investigation to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), which will be providing further updates as the investigation advances.
