
Abbotsford PD handles 3 weekend calls related to imitation guns being pointed at people
ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford say they were dispatched to three separate incidents over the weekend in which imitation firearms had been pointed at individuals.
In a social media post, police say they were dispatched for 355 police files between 5 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday morning, spanning multiple incidents across the spectrum.
Three of those incidents happened Sunday night in which imitation firearms were pointed at individuals. Police say two suspects were arrested in connection with two of the incidents, while the third remains under active investigation.
Additionally, officers responded to a robbery at a local gas station where a suspect reportedly brandished a knife.
