Hope RCMP seek owner of patches found last week

HOPE – Mounties in Hope are hoping to return a large collection of patches that were found in Hope last week.
According to a statement from Hope RCMP spokesperson Staff Sgt. Michael Sargent, the patches were found last Wednesday, May 28 in the 1200 block of 6th Avenue. Police are appealing to the public for help in returning the collection to its rightful owner.
“This collection of patches likely took many years to compile and may hold some significant sentimental value to someone out there and we would like to see it gets returned,” S/Sgt. Sargent said.
Police are asking for anyone who may have information regarding the ownership of this collection to contact the Hope RCMP at 604-796-7750.
