Police remove 11 impaired drivers from Abbotsford roads Saturday night

ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department had another busy weekend night.

Frontline teams managed a total of 86 operational files last night (May 29), which included a range of incidents, such as weapons-related calls, missing persons, disturbances, alarms, people in crisis, car crashes, and break-and-enters.

“Policing a growing city involves a diverse array of responsibilities, and our members continue to meet these challenges with dedication and professionalism,” wrote AbbyPD in a social media post.

Seven individuals have been arrested and taken to jail.

Police also identified and removed 11 impaired drivers from Abbotsford roads, down from the 19 removed the day prior.
