Semi crash slows traffic along Highway 1 near Langley, Surrey

SURREY — Traffic is slowly returning back to normal after a semi-truck crashed along a section of BC Highway 1 Friday morning near Surrey and Langley.
DriveBC reported a westbound vehicle incident west of 176th Street. Drivers on the Pacific Highway have been using the old scales, or truck pull-off to get around.
Tow crews were on scene as of 9:13 a.m. and have since removed the semi that was blocking all westbound lanes after 176th Street.
“Lanes will begin to reopen once crews have cleaned up the scene,” wrote DriveBC. “Traffic continues to pass through the old scales/truck pull-off.”
