
Cheam Mountain Singers to hold concerts in Agassiz, Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK — The Cheam Mountain Singers will launch the first of three concerts, all by donation, starting Saturday evening in Agassiz, followed by a Monday night concert in Chilliwack.
The Cheam Mountain singers are headed up by Rev. Phillip Barker, a former surgeon who is now the vicar at All Saints Anglican Church in Agassiz, the site of the first concert this Saturday evening, May 24 at 7 p.m. The church is located at 6904 Lougheed Highway in Agassiz.
The theme of the concert is “One Thousand Years of Song.” It will feature songs from the modern era as well as those dating back multiple centuries.
A second concert will be held Monday night, May 26 at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 46048 Gore Avenue, followed by a third performance on Thursday, May 29 at 7 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church in Mission.
