
Chilliwack Chiefs head to Game 5 at home with 3-1 series lead
CHILLIWACK — The Chiefs are back from the road with a hopeful 3-1 series lead over the Victoria Grizzlies.
At the Q Centre in Victoria on Tuesday (May 6), Grizzlies kicked off Game 3 with their only goal of the first period before the Chiefs dominated the next 20 minutes of play with forwards Connor Dick, Carter Anderson and Dustin Renas. Right-winger Caleb Elfering scored in the third period, marking his 10th goal in the 2024-25 Playoff Season. With a 4-2 win, Chiefs took the lead in the Coastal Conference Final at 2-1.
Game 4 had fans on edge as Victoria put up a closer fight on Wednesday, May 7. Habs Draft Pick Quentin Miller managed to stop all 28 shot attempts by the Grizzlies, and the sole goal of the night was netted in the second period by center Brady Milburn.
Tonight (May 9), first intermission will be buzzing with activity as Chiefs 2015-17 Captain Jordan Kawaguchi hands out autographed cards on the concourse, while local favourite Trevor McDonald puts on a show on the Bozzini’s stage.
