Fire breaks out at Harrison RV park Wednesday

HARRISON — Harrison and Agassiz firefighters were called to an RV park on Hot Springs Road Wednesday afternoon (May 7) after a fire at a fifth wheel trailer in Harrison Hot Springs.

According to scanner traffic, Harrison Hot Springs fire crews were notified of a fire at Harrison Holiday Park, 973 Hot Springs Road, at about 1:43 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Scanner traffic indicates Harrison firefighters requested mutual aid from Agassiz fires. An Agassiz fire official notified dispatch at about 2:02 p.m. that there was a fully involved fifth wheel trailer with extensions.

B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics were asked to attend.

The trailer was reportedly unoccupied at the time of the fire.
