Oversized big rig load knocks out numerous communications lines in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford say Clearbrook Road is currently closed between two primary streets after an oversized big rig took out numerous communications lines sometime Tuesday afternoon (Apr. 29).
According to a statement from police, police say Clearbrook Road remains closed between South Fraser Way and Hillcrest Avenue after an oversized commercial vehicle load took out several utility lines.
Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement personnel are attending to assist AbbyPD patrol officers.
There have been no injuries reported, but police say there is extensive damage to lines in the area.
